JOHN KAMP
John is an urban and landscape designer, licensed landscape contractor (C-27 #1039171), and facilitator with Prairieform and Place It! He has 20 years of experience in facilitation and training audiences of all ages and backgrounds in urban design, transportation, walkability, climate change, and landscape design and water conservation. Building off of his 15 years of experience in landscape and urban design/build, he is able to translate findings from Place It!'s community-engagement workshops and trainings into drawings and design recommendations for project teams and public and private clients. He and Rojas have also co-written the book Dream, Play Build, out on Island Press in February of 2022, on hands-on ways of engaging diverse audiences in urban planning, transportation, and landscape.
